Manuscript Submission

Dear colleagues, please take note of the change in the paper submission procedure from 2019.

“Povolzhskaya Arkheologiya” is an international reviewed journal on archaeology and adjacent disciplines.

It is a quarterly journal coming out in Russian and English. All articles are reviewed and supplied with abstracts in English and Russian.

The timing of the journal 's release

No. 1 – March

No. 2 – June

No. 3 – September

No. 4 – December

Please observe strictly the following ethical principles in your submissions.

SUBMISSIONS CHECKLIST:

Please check that you submit the full set of documents along with your submissions:

1. Declaration&Submission From is mandatory for all authors and confirms your consent to requirements and conditions of publication in our journal. Please fill in the form here or requested by email to arch.pov@mail.ru. The editors shall not accept any submission without this accompanying Form;
2. Text in MS Word (see Text Conventions here);
3. References (see example references here);
4. Illustrations include: drawings, photos, tables/graphs with original files used to build them (see instructions on illustrations here).

SUBMISSIONS ARE INVITED IN THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS:

The journal accepts papers of 15-40 thousand characters (with spaces), including abstracts and keywords in Russian and English, references, figure captions and information about the authors. There must be no more than 10 illustrations or tables per paper.

Manuscripts whose design does not meet the specified requirements are not considered by the editorial board!
