E.A. Khalikova’s Searches and Discoveries in the Volga-Kama Archaeology (on the occasion of her 85th birthday)

The article is devoted to the 85 anniversary since the birth of Elena A. Khalikova – a major researcher of medieval archaeology of the Volga-Ural region. E.A. Khalikova is known for her works on development of the Islamic burial rite in pre-Mongolian Volga Bulgaria as well as on the early Hungarians according to the unique Bolshie Tigany burial ground on the Lower Kama.
